Antoni Tàpies Foundation - façade
Antoni Tàpies is an emblematic artist of the post-war Spanish avant-garde. Social themes are especially evident in the works on display at the Foundation, offering a vision of oppression, affliction and the formalism that is characteristic of both the artist and his time. His early paintings are especially noteworthy, with major Surrealist influence, particularly from Joan Miró.
