The centre is home to one of the world’s largest private collections of contemporary art.
CaixaForum Museum - exterior
CaixaForum brings together some 800 works of art from the last two decades. These are displayed as a permanent collection alongside other temporary exhibitions. It is located in an old textile factory, and contains pieces by artists such as Beuys, Kounellis, Boltanski, Badiola, Juan Muñoz, Richard Long, Julián Schnabel and Francisco Clemente, amongst many others.
