The Capella Santa Àgata

This beautiful tourist attraction in Barcelona belongs to the Palacio Real Mayo. Capella Santa Àgata is a religious building that is highly visited by tourist and locals. It is situated on Plaça del Rei in the town of Barcelona.

This is a building of medieval origin that has a clear Gothic style. It was built in the early 14th century. It is a magnificent church has the typical single nave that is characteristic of the Gothic style. Inside the Capella Santa Àgata you can admire beautiful chapels and stained-glass windows.
Capella Santa Àgata is relatively close to the famous town street, Carrer Avinyó, Plaça Reial and some museums such as the Museu Tèxtil i d´Indumentària. You can also find wonderful hotels in Barcelona that are close to Capella Santa Àgata such as Colon Hotel, Barcelona Catedral Hotel and Hotel 1898, among others.
