Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària is an interesting site in Barcelona that is worth visiting. This museum is situated opposite Picasso Museum and it is part of the heritage core of Disseny Hub Barcelona. In this site you can see wonderful dresses and jewellery, among many other goods.

You can also appreciate interesting collections of lacework and religious clothing in the Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària. This museum that is divided into three sections (textiles, lace and clothes) gives you the opportunity to see what has happened in fashion from Ancient Egypt up to the present day. It must be said that this museum has access for people with reduced mobility and has a lift. The admission fee is €4.20 but there is free admission to the study galleries and Disseny Hub Barcelona on the first Sunday of every month. (Information taken from its official web page).
Tourists who visit this museum usually also visit the zoo that is relatively close to it. I must say that I didn’t find a hotel close to this attraction but the Colon Hotel is one of the most convenient and pleasant ones that is not so far away from the Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària.

Montserrat is close to Barcelona

Montserrat is a wonderful mountain that is located close to Barcelona. Tourists and locals usually visit this site where they can admire the Virgin of Montserrat sanctuary and enjoy the beauty of this area. This sanctuary is in the Benedictine abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat.

The rock formation of Mountain Montserrat is outstanding. Sant Jeroni is the name of the summit of this beautiful mountain. There is a cable car which will take you up the mountain in a few minutes. However, you can enjoy walking up Montserrat with your friends. Pilgrims do this once a year. It is said that they get to the top in about one hour and 45 minutes but there are different paths to the sanctuary. It is advisable to ask locals or the best travel agencies in Barcelona to make sure you can fully enjoy this activity. Remember that you can rent a car in Barcelona to get to this site and many others.
Remember that you can also visit the Museum in Montserrat and enjoy other great activities in this site. There are also different establishments close to this tourist attraction that offer numerous services such as accommodation. You can stay at any of the hotels in Barcelona since they all offer various services at reasonable rates but remember that not all of them have multilingual staff and it may be a very good idea to sign up for intensive Spanish certified courses.

Skating in Barcelona

Skating in Barcelona is possible in the different rinks available in this beautiful tourist destination in Spain. There are many excellent companies that offer this type of service. Surfing the net I have found an ice skating rink in Barcelona which is N-ICE skating S.L.U. Its telephone number is +34-934 180005.

There is another ice rink located in Roger De Flor Nº 168 that is said to be one of the best rinks in this destination since it offers several services and facilities. One of the rinks mentioned before is relatively close to La Pedrera and the Templo Expiatorio of the Sagrada Familia. It is also close to Silken Gran Hotel Havana and Catalonia Berna Hotel.
You will also find some teenagers in the streets of Barcelona skating with their friends and having a great time during the day.
Spanish is one of the official languages in Barcelona and you can do intensive Spanish certified courses.

MACBA is outstanding

Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA or Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art) is an imposing building where you can admire a significant collection of artworks from the last five decades. It also houses temporary exhibitions related to culture and art. This museum is definitively worth visiting.

According to the free encyclopedia, Wikipedia, there is a part of the museum where you can enjoy regular video art performances and that the collections of this museum focus on post-1945 Catalan and Spanish art but there is also foreign art in it. The entrance fee is approximately 6 €.
You can also enjoy guided visits by experienced and qualified guides. The address of this interesting museum is Plaça dels Angels Nº 1 and its telephone number is +34 934120810. It is advisable to look for additional information in the official web page of MACBA (macab.es). It must be said that there is another excellent art museum close to MACBA which is Centre de Cultura Contemporania de Barcelona (CCCB). This museum is also worth visiting in this great tourist destination in Spain.
I suppose that there are at least bilingual personnel in both museums since they are also visited by tourists from different parts of the world. However, it is always a good idea to improve your Spanish by taking intensive Spanish certified courses.
